Business Development Manager Integrated Building Solutions (“IBS”) is a nationally recognized consulting and construction management firm specializing in electrical, fire, and specialized engineering. We provide a life-cycle of services including consulting, engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and training throughout North America. Our company needs the skills and expertise of an experienced Business Development Manager. Our rapidly growing company is developing a new sales function to enhance the growth and success of our business. As an EOS “Traction” company the successful candidate will take over the lead of this initiative and instituting new techniques and strategies that will increase B2B revenue and position us for future long-term growth. We are looking for a creative but budget-conscious professional who can both take and give direction. He or she will work closely with our President and leadership team to achieve the desired metrics. This position prospects, budgets, plans, and oversees all aspects of potential marketing and sales opportunities including internal meetings, sales calls, CRM, and strategies related to the ongoing, successful, and profitable increase in IBS’s revenues. Specific responsibilities include: Learn the technical details concerning how our company works and what problems it solves for our clients. Prospecting for new customers and service opportunities and establish long term relationships. Create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers and positions our products and services as the best solution for prospective clients. Full management and ownership of company CRM. Track and forecast sales activities and opportunities. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements and qualifications: High School diploma with trade and/or college management schooling or related field experience preferably in electrical or construction. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience, preferably within the electrical and/or fire construction industry. A record of high-level industry and sales expertise. Excellent verbal and written communication, high emotional intelligence and a sense of humor are a must. It is expected that this person will be on overnight travel approximately 20% (or less) of the time. This person will need to travel, as the job requires. Experience in delivering presentations to both prospects and clients.
