He/she will work in close partnership with marketing leadership and use data/insights to drive strategy, and creation and evaluation of marketing programs. Additionally, this position will manage the reporting process for the Marketing departments as well as support other departments with their reporting and data analysis needs as necessary. She/he will work very closely with and must be very effective in collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Finance. She/he must also be able to provide analysis of large amounts of data and identify insights and construct a meaningful story from the data. In this role, you will… Create and generate key ongoing reports such as a weekly business performance metrics that includes relevant and insightful analysis and commentary Create metrics and reporting to identify trends in customer acquisition, retention, end-user demographics, seasonality, and geography by customer segment, channel, and product Provide analytic support for development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plans Measure ROI and impact of promotions, clinical education courses, special events, sales activity, and trade show presence on customer behavior, including developing the methodology and creating processes to capture data Proactively provide suggestions to improve existing reporting and ideas for new reporting that would provide more actionable business insights Provide ad hoc analysis on as needed basis in response to requests or to support recommendations Assist business partners in setting benchmark goals as appropriate Create presentations to be used in a variety of forums. And present to marketing and senior management. Mentor/Lead junior analyst as needed Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Other duties may be assigned In this role, you’ll need … Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Statistics or similar business related fields. MBA strongly preferred. 7+ years financial modeling, statistical and business analysis experience required 5+ years of experience supporting Sales or Marketing Experience with annual forecasting process, building ROI models, developing A/B models required Strong quantitative analysis and data mining skills Experience and strength in identifying insights from data and formulating a story Experience working with cross functional business partners 5+ years experience building models in MS Excel required, 2+ years with R and Python Required Experience with MS SQL and PowerBI Excellent communication skills to clearly present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats. Ability to translate complex business & financial analysis in simple layman terms Customer focused Strong project management and ability to work cross functionally Prioritizes well and strategic thinker Self-starter who needs minimal supervision and able to effectively manage through ambiguity Leadership ability to influence others, without authority, to drive change Regular business hours Requires up to 20% of time domestic travel
