Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required. The qualified candidate will support software development efforts for the conversion of software algorithms from MATLAB to C++, Java, or another real-time production language, integrate with PNNL system including GUI, and demonstrate capability to meet operational performance requirements by performing the following activities: Support, develop, implement and test rapid development code. Convert prototype code written in Matlab or Python into production code. Tailor and implement full software development lifecycle processes. Manipulate images using Computer Vision algorithm techniques. Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and a DHS Suitability clearance required Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science required 1-3 years experience required Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environment OR minimum one (1) year experience developing Unix applications using make files or comparable build environment, developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages Candidate should have strong oral and written communication skills Candidate should be highly motivated and self-starter with a strong desire to learn Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to work in a laboratory environment Company Policy: MAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
