Senior Quality Engineer Job Description: The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for support of the RF Power Business Unit. Product Scope includes RF Amplifier Transistors, MMIC, and Hybrid Modules in GaN technology, as well as legacy silicon mosfet / bipolar transistors and other related products. Additional support of the site quality system and continuous improvement initiatives will also be required. Responsibilities: Lead BU review from a Quality perspective for existing and new products (in development), partner with qualification group team members, and related items; Lead BU customer RMA items from receipt to closure, using the Quality staff support as required; From a Quality perspective, maintain the quality representation for this business unit at the key design center of excellence site (Morrisville, North Carolina); Provide guidance to Operations, BU and Quality colleagues on management and tactical support for any related RF Power Quality issues; Interface with suppliers and subcontractors to assure compliance to technical requirements and specifications; Be capable of generating and presenting to world-wide customers problems and actions taken through an 8D framework and with supporting detail; Be a practitioner in control plans and FMEAs with the ability to guide institutional learning on these methods. Qualifications: B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent) with 5-10+ years of component and/or semiconductor experience, specifically in support of customers in the semiconductor power amplifier / switch semiconductor space; power amplifier or switch design experience a plus; Understanding of semiconductor devices and components theory and manufacturing; Working knowledge of statistical sampling plans used for inspection or test of components along with the ability to perform statistical data analysis on large data sets; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Well-practiced organization and planning skills; Ability to work both independently and within a team environment; MS Office experience (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Project); Statistical software experience (JMP, Minitab, etc.) Experience with Agile and/or SAP a plus; US Citizens or Permanent Residents (US Green Card holder) due to ITAR restrictions.
