For additional company information, please visit: Responsibilities: The Senior Systems Engineer in this role supports Sea-Based Weapons System (SBWS) Engineering (AB-E) activities across a range of programs/projects. The individual will provide advisory and technical support to the AB-E Systems Engineer. Duties include implementation of established system engineering processes across a program acquisition life cycle, creation of technical documentation, and support to the MDA/AB Program Office in programmatic and technical engineering management. Role and Responsibilities: Apply systems engineering principles, practices, and methods to resolve technical issues Define and resolve complex problems that span organizational boundaries Communicate orally and in writing in a clear/concise manner Coordinate Systems Engineering Statements of Work Track Systems Engineering FY budgets and cost estimates; perform trend analysis Coordinate Systems Engineering inputs for the PBR process Provide inputs to MDA senior-level presentations Review and provide inputs to Systems Engineering documents Document Systems Engineering processes Qualifications: Qualifications and Education Requirements: BS or higher in an engineering field or other technical degree 7+ years of overall systems engineering experience Experience supporting DoD/Navy programs and/or working in a dynamic DoD program office environment desired Experience with BMD and/or Aegis highly desired Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Active SECRET or higher clearance required Strong communication skills required Knowledge of any of the following highly desired: Systems Engineering and execution processes, Systems Assessment, Modeling and Simulation, Systems Architecture, System Requirements, Digital Engineering, MBSE, Threat Engineering Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions. #LI-KC1
