We are currently looking for a Sales Specialist to support the implementation of our growth strategy in Advanced Applications. The Sales Specialist will work closely with the Telematics Product Manager. This multi-function role extends across many functional areas of the organization. Although primarily sales oriented, this role will be expected to collaborate with many departments and participate in marketing, finance, customer support and project management activities. The Sales Specialist will routinely work with customers and dealer. Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit will flourish in this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Function as the SME (subject matter expert) for advanced applications which include telematics, software and corresponding hardware Product demonstrations, including both software and hardware Support application engineering personnel during the sales process Support field engineering personnel during installation process Manage multiple customer projects with various hardware and software products Coordinate with application engineers, field engineers, technicians, and dealers to complete projects on time and to customer expectations Assist in defining project scope, objectives and execution, involving all relevant (internal and external) stakeholders while ensuring technical and financial feasibility Assist with new product development Assist with customer service Assist in the project quoting process Assist in conducting product training sessions both in digital and in-person formats Assist in monitoring project performance and lead change management initiatives using appropriate tools and techniques Qualifications Prior experience in product development, marketing and/or customer support in a software solutions company desired. Computer skills required: Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc) Comfortable learning new software Technical experience desired Strategy or business development background and strong analytical capabilities Must demonstrate creativity in solving problems and generating innovative solutions Good presentation, conceptual and analytical skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Team-oriented and methodical way of working A focus on performance and results Ability to lead projects with limited supervision Must be dependable, pay attention to details and show strong initiative and drive Must have extraordinary organizational skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in (Business, Marketing) or related
