BASIC FUNCTION: Provide support and assistance to assigned sales manager. Calls and/or receive calls from new or existing customer base. Answer questions about product, service, price, delivery, submittal status, availability of product, etc. Assesses customer needs and makes recommendations for products and services. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Support the creation/building of long-term relationship with customers. Performs order entry, reviews and processes orders, and create credit requests. Create processes and maintain a variety of reports pertaining to specific clients. Interfaces with clients, account managers and internal departments to assist in resolving client-related administrative issues. Identifies delays or problem areas, and suggests solutions for resolving issues. Gather competitive information, and provide feedback on customer satisfaction, as well as recommendations to improve procedures. Assist Sales Manager in attaining sales performance goals. Maintain customer database. Assist Accounting with vendor invoice processing. Follow up with customers Order tracking Help track individual customer quality and delivery ratings. Comply with all customer quality requirements. Ensure compliance with company code of conduct and all applicable laws, regulations, rules and policies. Comply with all requirements of the AS9120, ISO 9001, ASA-100, and IDEA-STD-1010 Quality Management System and criteria of CCAP-101, AS6081, AC7402 and ANSI/ESD-S20.20. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCY: High School Diploma ? College education preferred. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills Strong attention to detail. Customer empathy/ Superior customer service skills. Highly organized.
