Job Description

The Sales & Marketing Director leads the Sales and Marketing team and manages our overall sales and service strategy; having ultimate accountability for driving revenue growth for Blusource. This position is responsible for increasing profitability by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening account retention, growing and enhancing Blusources presence in the market through innovation, and nurturing relationships with customers and business partners. Create and implement new business initiatives and sales strategies to increase revenue through automation, new business growth, expanded product offerings and account retention Use business intelligence tools to access and use data to drive sales and innovation Conduct competitive strategic analyses, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development; with an understanding of how UX impacts customer buying decisions Optimize and grow e-commerce presence by analyzing new markets and emerging trends Lead, guide and direct the daily operations of the Sales and Marketing team Provide training, coaching and mentorship for the team and in 1-on-1 situations for performance feedback and career development Foster a culture of personable accountability based on our standards for success Set and monitor team and individual sales goals Collaborate with other departments as needed for the support of all sales initiatives Author a comprehensive annual business plan and budget for department Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing 5+ years of experience in sales and/or account management 3+ years of experience successfully leading and managing people 2+ years of experience in business analytics Experience working with CRM platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 Strong communication skills and artful negotiator Intentional listener and inventive problem solver Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail Creative process designer and workflow master Excellent time management and administrative skills Exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt to new and/or challenging situations High level of integrity, honesty and transparency Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process Proven track record for ongoing personal career/leadership development Ability to engage in reciprocal, constructive feedback Bonus Points: Have an advanced degree (MBA) Have experience in Google Analytics, SEO and/SEM Have experience in marketing and UX design
