Summary/Objective This person will be an outside sales representative for Commercial Truck Trailers. Follows and adheres to all policies and procedures related to Sales. Seeks out new business opportunities to grow sales volume and increase profitability all while providing exemplary customer service. Essential Functions · Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to, assigned regional, house accounts and local chains. · Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines. · Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services. · Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business. · Achieves sales profit standards. · Proposes customer terms based on customer profitability and credit worthiness. · Maintains sales standards by account. · Coordinates sales with the other departments to work toward a common goal. · Adheres to sales policies and procedures. · Maintains an on-going liaison between M&K Truck & Trailer Centers its customers · Market development within assigned territory · Customer merchandising and program implementation · Customer pricing/profitability within corporate guidelines · Customer terms within approved guidelines · Lift up to 50 pounds · CRM Module must be kept up to date, sales activities recorded and fully utilized Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Days and hour of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Education and Experience Must have a minimum of three years direct sales experience.
