We are seeking a seasoned, friendly, detailed, creative and service-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team in its Frederick, MD office. This position requires a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Duties performed include a broad range of marketing activities, as well as general administrative support. This position requires a polished and mature professional who can be responsible for prioritizing projects in order to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director. Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (however sometimes overtime and/or weekend hours are required when necessary). Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with the set-up of marketing efforts. Collaborate frequently with various teams throughout the organization. Conduct internal email marketing. Constantly monitor and report on internal efforts. Become an expert on all internal systems. Prepare presentations and reports, as needed. Event and Trade Show experience a must. Proficiency to identify, assemble, and coordinate event and trade shows, as well as establish contacts, coordinate shipping and logistics and pre-show mailing lists. Responsible for promotional materials (digital and other). Coordinate requirements with design team, place orders, and verify receipt. Generate email analytics reports. Familiarity with Adobe Suite and MailChimp preferred. Qualifications: BS Degree in Marketing or Advertising preferred. Three plus (3+) years related work experience. Knowledge of marketing principles, such as web advertising, direct response and event marketing, as well as performance analysis. Strong organizational skills, must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Superb attention to detail. Solid skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to analyze and sort data in Microsoft Excel. Ability to closely collaborate with team members. Solid interpersonal skills required. Team-player with an eagerness to learn. Communication is vital in this role. Excellent written and verbal skills required. Deep familiarity with all aspects of Social Media.
