He or she is in charge of the communication to new clients on the processes and expectations during the implementation and the servicing of account, through the initial invoice and remittance of the premium. It is the account coordinator’s duty to relay information about the client to other Boon-Chapman departments, as well as other applicable vendors. Works under the direction of their assigned Regional Account Owner. Key responsibilities include: Establish a good working relationship with client’s appointed representatives, agents, consultant, and assigned Regional Account Owner Manages all incoming inquiries from client, employer groups, sales personnel, and brokers via ticketing system Monitors issues log to identify trending issues and facilitates proper resolution. Coordinate and respond to client/agent inquiries. Coordinate any special reporting requests from clients/agents. Direct support of Regional Account Owner in order to implement/renew/service cases on the platform Client facing presentations to talk through processes and expectations via phone or tele conference Must follow all internal policies and procedures including those in personnel handbook, procedure manual and memorandum. All other duties as assigned. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (NOBODY'S PERFECT BUT EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS) High school education or equivalent with college or related education. TPA experience preferred. Client relations experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skill in interpersonal and written communication. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of ancillary insurance benefits, or ability to quickly learn Skill in mathematical equations and auditing of premium invoices Must be able to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate the data to client, agents, consultants, and carriers. Ability to multitask. Ability to accurately compile data and perform detailed work. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain regular attendance. Ability to maintain confidentiality of material and information. Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work as a member of a team and with other departments.
