Director’s duties include building and maintaining strong customer relationships and understanding market trends. This position involves close interaction with sales leads, recruiting leads, internal cross-functional management team members, and key customers. Partners with current and potential customers to understand their business needs and objectives and acts as a liaison between Sales and Recruiting. Defines the job description by gathering requirements from prospects, and customers, identifying market requirements and working with recruiters to create a pool of well qualified candidates.
Proactively seeks and educates prospective customers in the IT Services, financial, IT implementation and logistics industries on all company services and how they add strategic value to the Services of these organizations.
Generate company revenue from sales calls with new and existing customers by marketing and understanding the marketplace from both an operational and technology perspective.
Assumes lead role in identifying opportunities for new sales.
Prepare and deliver customer and senior executive presentations.
Negotiates and prepares pricing, master services agreements and contracts for customers who use company services.
Works with internal resources to identify, develop and current and potential customers on current and future IT projects.
Must establish, grow and maintain good customer relationships by calling on customers in their offices and by working with accounts at industry meetings, tradeshows and User Group meetings.
Responsible for management of daily sales issues including potential candidate pool, submission of qualified candidates to the customer, coordinate interviews, close successful candidates/deals, negotiate bill rate with customer, pay rate with candidate and duration of contract.
Works with other key team members to create company positioning and provide content for sales and marketing materials to support commercial efforts.
Keep leadership team informed of issues that may impact strategic business objectives, relationships and related concerns.
Holds regular update meetings with key internal interest groups (recruiting and management) to discuss open requirements, active submissions, closable deals, new initiatives, improve sales and support/billing processes.
Works closely with management to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives aimed at building business through third partyagent/sales channels.
Maintains excellent working relationship with management and recruiting and ensures team spirit.
This position requires extensive travel within the US.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience in information technology infra-structure and application development services with an emphasis on pricing practices, business strategy and relationship management. Experience in a technical sales role would be a plus.
Undergraduate business or technical degree, MBA preferred.
Knowledge of contracts and billing practices and processes.
Professional selling, negotiating and presentation skills.
Ability to speak about and present a clear understanding of technical and business processes at the highest levels.
Working knowledge of technical skills.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
