TIG Risk Services is a local, regional and nationwide investigative firm servicing the insurance, government, and legal communities. We perform surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations on worker's compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short term disability claims.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of five years surveillance experience and some experience performing SIU related functions; such as, taking statements and scene inspections. Candidates should have excellent report writing and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be able to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in a variety of environments, including high crime areas and be comfortable with the use of pretext investigations.
Provides professional, expedient, and legal investigative services as requested by clients.
Responsible for checking in with Regional Surveillance Manager (RSM) at the beginning, middle and end of each assignment.
Maintains proper use of all TIG related technology, including TIG’s proprietary GPS tracking software and CROSStrax™.
Performs daily case reviews to determine case objectives and verifies information regarding start times, addresses, telephone numbers and vehicles of subjects.
Conducts surveillance of both stationary and mobile subjects in a covert manner.
Performs proactive and covert attempts to develop and gather new information pertaining to the subject of the investigation through public database searches and/or neighborhood canvasses where it does not violate specific client rules and instructions or State and/or Federal Laws.
Obtains professional, quality video utilizing covert techniques, such hidden cameras and photographs, which will meet the requirements of clients and guidelines of court evidence.
Types concise and accurate reports depicting all aspects of the progression of an investigation.
Ensures all cases are completed, paying special attention to case objectives and budgetary constraints.
Maintains professional attitude and appearance when representing the company to clients, court personnel, co-workers, potential candidates and others during work related interaction.
Verbally and/or electronically update clients, sales staff, office staff, and operational staff regarding case activity on a daily basis as necessary.
Need to have timely submission of all investigative materials such as reports and videotapes using CROSStrax™.
Conducts general claims investigations such as SIU services, statement taking and interviews.
Assists management and co-workers on case activity as requested.
Able to upload original video using VE-CMS.
Performs professional state licensing assistance as needed and required by TIG.
Valid Private Investigator License.
Must have skills to work independently.
Must be able to write investigative reports using VE-CMS.
Must have medium-level computer skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours and days.
