National Vice President of Sales - UHC Global

Job Description

The NA VP of Sales is responsible for leading the sales and broker strategy for Global Solutions, managing the sales team, and partnering with sales teams across the enterprise to drive growth. Lead sales team Expand UHCG market presence Deliver against financial targets Create multi-year sales strategy; provide updates on agreed upon cadence Ensure sales team completes regional sales plans and updates at determined frequency Support global forums and events activities, as well as tracking process Utilize sales effectiveness reporting to drive performance from sales team Establish and maintain disciplined sales process Manage pipeline process Prepare and present at MBRs Assist the team with individual sales opportunities Attend and actively participate in pricing calls Develop broker strategy; provide updates on agreed upon cadence Attend broker meetings as appropriate Maintain relationships with key decision makers in NA and local markets Participate in cross sales opportunities with UHCG (e.g., Amil, EU, etc.) Participate as a leader of the growth office Support Client Management team as needed with client and broker relationships, and individual sales opportunities Complete all HC related activities as talent manager Assist with sales compensation plan design Participate in SIP payment process Partner with underwriting to achieve pricing objectives Partner with marketing to develop value story Partner with product to provide VOC and VOM Participate in NPS process Demonstrated Skills: Exemplary oral and written communication skills Critical listening and thinking skills Able to work effectively independently and within a team environment Decision making/problem solving skills Territory planning and team management skills Negotiation skills Leadership presence Excellent relationship management skills Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience in global medical and expatriates plans, IEAP, global wellness, etc Experience with travel to global locations Technical knowledge in global assistance service industry and evacuation practices Solid knowledge in the domestic healthcare market and competitive practice Demonstrable success selling and international benefits products 7+ years' experience in Sales and/or Marketing 5+ years successful business development experience with global clients, in the healthcare, finance or insurance fields 2+ years leading a sales team Computer knowledge in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Maintain licensure and product certification based on policies and procedures Will require travel both domestic (U.S.) and global Ability to work a variety of hours, early morning, evenings and weekends, as required by various sales activities Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
