Job Description

The Digital Product Owner will be supporting the Medicare & Retirement Rx team on the Digital Rx project. As a Digital Product Owner, you will lead & /or collaborate with business partners on Digital products and projects from ideation through delivery and optimization. The focus of the Digital Product Owner will be building relationships with all business partners to improve communications, collaboration and coordination to realize business goals. Primary Responsibilities: Build collaborative relationship with business partners including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Product, Networks, Clinical Services, Shared Services Develop and manage the backlog of all ideas and features impacting the product including those sponsored by business partners Engage and collaborate with business sponsors to jointly define emerging initiatives and shepherd them through the digital development process Explains competitive landscape for how product fits into it; anticipates what is happening in the market and plans and executes on insights learned; translates data into a compelling business case and customer Works with matrix partners to translate required capabilities into concrete operational processes and measurement plans; Interprets vision and translates into requirements for engineering teams; Validates requirements with marketplace via pilots and beta groups; Pro-actively identifies needs/priorities of audience and provides relevant information when sharing insights, including facts and explanation of decision-making criteria Tells the story of the product both internally and externally; Provides subject matter expertise; Joins sales team on calls to offer expertise Prioritizes roadmap and articulates a logical, iterative approach to delivering the customer solution; May serve as lead product manager in an Agile environment Clearly articulate reach, impact, cost and effort of product ideas and features, communicate value of each enhancement and product optimization Lead Scrum teams to ensure successful delivery of product ideas and features, from planning through delivery Develop and maintain regular communications to support leadership and business partner team communications, including coordination of updates for a monthly product review Coordinate product updates with stakeholders including the Go-To-Market and Operations teams Work with stakeholders to build a process to identify new product features that will impact digital with the goal of capturing requirements for digital products Work closely with experience design, operations, marketing and delivery partners to ensure effective "team-of-teams" execution Represent Digital for internal partner or external client presentations as needed Lead ad hoc projects with cross functional teams supporting key business goals You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Lead Product Owner (creating user stories and features) 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst 4+ years of experience working in the digital space, working on both web and mobile apps 1+ years of demonstrated portfolio of user-centric digital experiences with proven, positive impacts to engagement and KPIs (2+ years) Preferred Qualifications: Agile / Scrum Certified Understanding of product organization operations Experience working with Medicare or Pharmacy related projects Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, marketers, IT teams and engineering Ability to absorb and make sense of large amounts of data, information and perspectives to direct decision making Ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision Results-oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills Outstanding communication skills for all audience types including executives Knowledge of current digital web and application standards Experience in Adobe Suite Content marketing and management experience Digital marketing and commerce experience Healthcare industry experience Experience developing solutions with technical teams Knowledge of security, privacy, and PHI/PII concerns Knowledge or experience with digital accessibility standards Knowledgeable in industry standard patterns, practices and technologies (e.g. SaaS, Web Services, API buildout, Big Data technologies, Mobile, Reporting, etc.) Horizontal is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
