Reports to: VP of Customer Engagement You are a people person who studied the liberal arts or something analytical but haven’t quite found your niche yet. You love being challenged and interacting with other people, learning new things and having conversations. If this describes you then are you a candidate for the Sales Consultant role at Striata Inc. Striata is a global company providing digital communication software and services. What’s the role? Mentor under the VP of Customer Engagement to learn and develop B2B sales skills with warm and cold leads Work closely with companies to understand business processes or organizational problems, and quickly identify how Striata services and solutions can help them Research industry specific needs and contribute to the ideation of commercial insight Proactively develop consultative sales opportunities within industries like Insurance, Utilities, Financial Services and Retail Foster relationships with leads through phone calls, emailing, networking, and at events Manage leads and new account opportunities Progress leads by creating relationships and communicating through an established process Learn to prepare and send out official proposals and business contracts Provide sales support to VP of Customer Engagement and other management when needed Management of lead generation initiatives You are someone who… Loves a challenge Is looking to grow within the field of sales Is highly organized, with excellent interpersonal skills Is proactive and service-driven Is motivated, goal oriented and persistent Is a sound thinker and planner Is excellent at relationship-building and networking Is able to remain flexible, function under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude Is administratively strong with good attention to detail Is a good communicator Boxes to tick: A four year college degree Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Desire to be part of an expanding business Minimum of 2 years experience in sales or marketing (extra points for SaaS) Demonstrated critical thinking ability A sense of humor Competitive, persistent, ambitious nature with a desire to win Our Offer: Competitive base salary with bonus based on sales Opportunity to grow quickly within a global company Open access to leadership and mentorship Professional development and training across all levels Generous annual leave Job Type: Full-time Experience: relevant: 1 year (Preferred) sales: 2 years (Preferred) Additional Compensation: Bonuses Work Location: Fully Remote Management: Key Leader Schedule: Monday to Friday
