The Sales Ops Specialist is a pivotal role at Volta. You will have the opportunity to play a crucial part in transforming the way we operate as a business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams like Site Sales, Finance, Business Operations, Operations, and Legal. You will assist the Sales Operations Manager in delivering solutions to complex issues and identifying process breakdowns across the company.
This position will be based in San Francisco and will report to the Sales Operations Manager.
You will own the Site and Location Approval process to accelerate opportunities through the sales cycle and to ensure our charging stations are installed to optimize our ability to sell our ad inventory
You will assist the Sales team in maintaining high data integrity within Salesforce
You will assist with the account management and finance team with expediting the sales process from order to invoicing
You will help deliver ongoing trainings of new tools, processes, or Salesforce improvements to the Sales team
You will work closely with the Business Operations team to prioritize projects and gather requirements from sales leadership
You will partner with Marketing to help manage the inbound lead routing methodology and execution
You will enable Salesforce improvements and automate processes
You will design and improve key media sales processes for efficiency and connect the dots with downstream functions
You will build and manage reports and dashboards within Salesforce to provide insight and guidance to the Sales team
You will work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve process inefficiencies
3+ years in sales operations at a fast-growing startup
Experience administering & improving Salesforce
Experience as an operator working with cross-functional teams
Exceptional independent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptable in changing situations
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
