Position Summary To achieve Radisson Hotel Group’s revenue and growth objectives by soliciting and negotiating the signing of License Agreements & management contracts which meet or exceed quality standards and are REVPAR Accretive across all Radisson Hotel Group brands. Seeking a candidate located in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Wisconsin. Responsibilities Achieves the goal set for number of deals signed and properties added across all brands by developing and implementing cost effective strategies to promote and sell License Agreements & management contracts Generates leads through contacts with developers, other management companies, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, brokers, consultants, & private equity investors Determines interest in Radisson Hotel Group by contacting leads, sending development packets Presents Radisson Hotel Group’s capabilities to prospective owners, developers, and investors by making on-site visits to the client and by hosting visits to WHQ in Minneapolis Signs new properties by negotiating contracts with owners, developers and investors Acts as a liaison for operations until opening to ensure smooth entry into Radisson Hotel Group’s systems Ensures that potential agreements meet brand standards and requirements by evaluating proposals and making appropriate recommendations Secures information on financial and managerial capabilities and limitations of owners Evaluates properties based on potential financial return, quality of operations and location Conducts preliminary on-site evaluation of prospective Radisson Hotel Group Ensures all standards and legal compliance are met by working with CCI Legal, Contract Administration Works closely with Operations to ensure the hotel complies with standards Keeps current with industry trends by representing Radisson Hotel Group at brand, industry events and selected hotel investment conferences, promotes The Radisson Hotel Group and enhances public recognition of the brands by projecting a favorable image of our enterprise Has a deep knowledge of hotel real estate and Central Business Districts (CBDs) in the assigned geographic are. Has knowledge of new construction site selection. Has significant personal relationships with: Owners, Operators, Hotel Investors, Hotel Brokers & Hotel Consultants within the assigned geographic areas. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements 7+ years hotel development experience required Candidate must be located in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Wisconsin Bachelor’s degree preferred Demonstrated ability to grow a high-quality portfolio of hotels across all brand segments Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and close real estate deals and/or contracts Proactive, forward thinker, driven to deliver outside the box solutions Exceptional sales / “hunter” mindset Flexible, resilient and adaptable Strong ethical compass and high level of integrity High level of determination and persistence Engaging relationship builder Must live within reasonable driving distance from regional territory 80-90% travel required
