We are currently looking for a Federal Software Sales Account Manager to join our team in the MD/DC area. Our product line in Information Management is award winning, and sold to any agency, regardless of size. Responsibilities:Prospecting, finding, developing and closing opportunities through the entire Sales CycleDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key decision-makersCreating and implementing account strategyRecognizing customer business problems and driving / influencing resources to address opportunitiesObtaining customer commitment and delivering a total enterprise solutionMaintaining current revenue and focusing on identifying new opportunities to increase market share and revenue growthCoordinating and communicating with various internal resources in Pre-sales, Contracts and Post-SalesWorking with Channel Partners and other Quest resources to increase opportunity size and expedite closure Qualifications: Requirements Must be a US CitizenMinimum of 5 years of successful experience in a quota driven sales capacity - Minimum of 5 years of successful enterprise sales experience with the US Federal government agancies - DoD, CIV Excellent presentation, business, analytical, problem solving and communication skills, written and verbal with ability to effectively communicate with business and IT individuals at all levels of the customers’ organizationStrong prospecting and cold-calling skillsProficient with CRM tools – preferredKnowledge of solution and value-based selling techniquesStrong written and oral communication skills, including cold calls, proposal preparation presentation and selling skills: Opening, probing, supporting, closing and overcome customer indifferenceKnowledge of solution and value-based selling techniquesAbility to sell to high-level executives using articulate value propositionsStrong teamwork skills are required to successfully work in a highly-matrixed environmentUp to 25% of travel.
