The GPO New Sales Manager (QSM) is the primary Avendra representative dedicated to managing the overall business needs of the customers in a key channel partnership with Qmerit. Responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and supplier usage, solving problems, and implementing new supplier offerings, the QSM will work with customers, suppliers, channel partner and internal department representatives at varying levels. The QSM will also perform analyses to create efficiencies and identify internal process improvement opportunities. Position Reports to:Director, Market Strategy Primary Responsibilities Focused support of a key channel partnership with Qmerit and the ability to manage a range of emerging inputs and funnel towards the desired outcome Be a key liaison with Qmerit team to support a wide range of initiatives (customer, supplier, technical) Help create and manage training sessions and materials with Qmerit to ensure proper understanding of Avendra value, features and benefits of supplier offerings, updates on new processes, etc. Work with Marketing team, Qmerit and others to help develop content for sales, training and customer communication materials (email blasts, one-pagers, videos, etc.) Build and maintain relationships with customers leveraging Qmerit/Avendra offering Understand customer contract terms and business objectives Help manage, and suggest ideas to evolve, various systems and processes to ensure accurate and expeditious account set-up and onboarding Develop structure to educate customers with varying needs, promote new suppliers, increase supplier usage, and increase spend Track customer activity, satisfaction and utilization of suppliers; identify and act on opportunities Design customer reporting Build and maintain supplier relationships Work with Strategic Sourcing to understand supplier contract terms and KPIs Define and measure key metrics to accelerate supplier account set-up Align with suppliers to resolve customer issues and find solutions Help design and develop ways to quantify savings/value (e.g. Market baskets, Optimization analyses, Supplier evaluations) Primary Competencies Planning and Organization Problem Solving & Analytical Skills Effective Written and Oral Communications Results Orientation Taking Initiative Relationship Building Other Duties. Qualifications Role Requirements Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships via phone and email Excellent communication and presentation skills - comfort leading webinars and calls Strong sales and customer service skills Deep program knowledge to be credible with customers, suppliers and partners Ability to perform analysis and interpret results into actionable steps Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Advanced project management skills and experience Strong attention to detail and process orientation MRO knowledge preferred Overnight Travel Requirements. Minimal Years of Relevant Experience. 5-8 years of experience (Account Management/Customer Management/Sales or similar) with a background in MRO suppliers, contractors, commercial office or multi-family market segments preferred Education Requirements. BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience.
