Autodesk is in the middle of a significant transformation and is making investments to change business processes and modernize the back office. As part of this effort, the Finance Business Intelligence team is seeking a talented Technical PM/Business Analyst. In this role, you will be contributing towards Autodesk goal of digitizing our company. Finance Systems and Operation Transformation(FSOT) organization. The candidate would be on the front lines of our efforts to Digitize Finance through the modernization of our reporting systems. This position reports to Sr. Manager of Finance Business Intelligence Finance and will be a valued contributor as the team’s lead representative on key Autodesk Projects including the Digit that impact the finance reporting environment consisting of Data Marts and BI tools such as Business Objects, QlikView, Power BI, etc. This candidate must effectively partner with Business Owners, developers, project leads and other key stakeholders to ensure that management reporting requirements from projects are successfully integrated into our BI Tools. The right candidate will demonstrate outstanding critical thinking, excellent collaboration skills, organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal forms to the relevant audiences. Responsibilities Project lead and representative for Finance BI team on Autodesk/Finance project teams. Act as liaison between IT development teams, key finance stakeholders to ensure that requirements for management reporting are fully understood and communicated. Identify and surface changes that will impact the management reporting environment and pursue resolutions Partners with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, evaluate the business requirements and translate them into systems data flow or formula change requirements Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts Dissects high-level information into details and communicates details in a manner understood by relevant audiences Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, may perform user acceptance tests, and roll-outs to business users Tests solutions and ensures they meet business requirements and are “fit-for-purpose” Presents and validates solutions with business users Either creates and executes test plans or trains others how to do it Collaborates with Business Owners, developers and project leads for successful execution of management reporting requirements for projects Balances business requirements with technical feasibility. Recommends changes in business process, development, maintenance and system standards Subject matter expert in understanding business definitions and how they translate into technical requirements for our systems and tools Minimum Qualifications Self-navigating learner who is eager to learn new skills and become a Subject Matter Expert in Sales Finance business acumen and how it flows and translates through our various systems and tools Action oriented. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in both process and solution analysis Maturity and ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic project environment Understanding of Agile, Jira and project management a plus Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills including organizational savvy Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Technical PM or Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Project Management or comparable experience, supporting medium to large-size finance systems or tools implementation projects. Preferably in Finance. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Intelligence (or related field) or equivalent work experience required. Experience with financial systems like SAP, visualization and reporting tools like Business Objects, QlikView, Power BI, Anaplan or Tableau. Being able to articulate and communicate in both written and oral forms to diverse types of audiences (Developers to managers to business owners) Ability to work both collaboratively and independently as appropriate.
