We are searching for a Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a high-end residential outdoor lighting installation company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring long-term, quality clients for the company by creating strategic partnerships and driving company revenue through the execution and leadership of the design and sales systems. The Sales Manager will have 3 direct reports - 2 sales reps in the Portland Metro area and 1 sales rep in the Seattle Metro area. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to the Seattle office at least 1 day/week and attend night time demonstrations while learning the job. Hours per week are estimated to be 60-65 hours/week. A company car, phone and tablet or laptop will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base, ensuring its strong presence and long term success. Managing, recruiting, goal setting and coaching all design and sales consultants. Organize and implement the full use of company CRM system. Track, assign and monitor all leads. Attend industry, organization and networking events. Create leads and strategic partnerships for sales team through prospecting and networking. Develop key strategic partnerships to grow referral based business. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree At least 5 years of high end sales experience At least 2 years of management experience Strong motivational skills High level of organization Must be goal driven and have a proven history of reaching goals Strong people person with the ability and willingness to build relationships through cold prospecting Enjoys numbers. Will be required to know the prospecting and sales numbers of all team members Good coach that uses positivity to motivate others. Highly accountable for assigned responsibilities of entire design and sales team Travel requirements: 1-2 days per week to our Seattle market Compensation: 60-75 K base salary Quarterly bonus of 1% gross sales once minimum sales numbers are met Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Company Phone and iPad or Laptop Vacation, medical, dental and 401k benefits are also provided.
