The Transitions department is responsible for extracting and transferring data from legal software systems to the LEAP product range. The department is not only responsible for the technical aspects but also manages client’s expectations in relation to data collection, data migration and LEAP delivery/installation. Position Description To maintain the data migration calendar and schedule existing client transitions for USA Collection of Legacy data when required Data probes of Legacy software systems Maintaining Transition departments documentation Managing a Client through the Transition Process Liaison between Transitions Manager and various departments requiring transitions Work with multiple departments to maintain, plan and book upcoming transitions for the Transitions departments. Log onto client sites to determine the type of transition that will be needed to attain a successful LEAP migration, when manual transitions clients are received Collection of Legacy data products and reports from client sites as per LEAP documented process. Liaison between Transitions Manager, multiple departments and clients regarding transition queries – mainly for the manual data capture team Recreate and or maintain current transition department documents when needed Requirements Strong organization skills Basic technical knowledge of software systems – Legal industry knowledge will be a bonus.
