Description: Specialized Real Estate Group, Inc. (SREG) is looking for a Construction Manager (CM) / builder to plan, coordinate and oversee the construction of a variety of projects in the Northwest Arkansas region. The (CM) will work closely with the SREG development team as well as architects, engineers, land planners and other consultants to manage the building process from conception through implementation to ensure project efficiency and economy. General project types include new and remodel residential homes, light commercial building and commercial tenant improvement. The (CM) will be responsible for pre-construction and construction efforts including site due diligence and site inspections, budgets, subcontractor & vendor buyout, procurement of all necessary permits, building and safety codes, develop and manage construction schedules, provide construction-oversight, and the document control process through regular reporting. The (CM) should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in building and construction management and is expected to be practiced in the design-build process and green building standards and is expected to simultaneously manage multiple projects or new homes in various stages of construction and development. Requirements: Responsibilities include Work with architects & PEs to assist with design and construction details Establish and manage project budgets, estimates and schedule and cost updates Manage permitting, construction, inspection, and quality control Manage procurement including drafting subcontracts and material and equipment purchase orders Coordinate with clients and manage project changes and upgrades Work with SREG accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely payments Work with SREG marketing and communication staff to assist with promotional, marketing, social media and sales goals Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or licensed builder (required) 7+ years of experience in building and construction management Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task on a variety of projects Experience in meeting deadlines on budget per expectations Use of personal vehicle Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with CPM scheduling and software - Microsoft Project or similar Compensation: Competitive compensation will be offered commensurate with education level and experience.
