A successful Senior Project Manager will have the following: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; plus 3-5 years of Project Management experience. PMP certification strongly preferred. Must have excellent facilitation skills, very strong follow through abilities and must have strong ownership of initiatives and issues – drive team to resolutions and delivery. Must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability/experience to drive solutions to issues and risks. Proficiency with MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word. We are based out of New York City, with offices in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. The Data and Analytics team is the backbone of DISH Media Sales. We work with the largest continuous set-top-box data set in the industry and provide advertisers with a way to deliver addressable advertising at national scale. We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Senior Project Manager who will report directly to the General Manager, Data & Analytics. The position supports the data team with various project management needs. The projects can be of various degrees of complexity and often include coordination of numerous groups and departments, critical thinking and problem solving. Primary Responsibilities: Engage, problem solve, and communicate across the enterprise to drive successful initiatives. Successfully manage results and achieve critical growth and development goals for DISH Media. Responsible for coordination and oversight of project processes. Ensure critical thinking and flawless execution of projects by considering impacts on all areas of the business. Interacting with all teams within DISH Media to assess requests for new or custom reports, data flows, or automated processes made by clients, partners and internal teams. Working through the technical, business, operational and legal/compliance questions that develop surrounding new strategic and operational initiatives. Partnering with the leads for our teams of data scientists, data engineers and business analysts to develop achievable completion dates and prioritize/de-prioritize projects based on potential revenue opportunities and efficiency gains to the organization. Coordinating with Data Partnerships Manager to fulfill any operational & technical requests from our data partners. Conducting TQA testing for completed projects, looping in business end users as needed. Representing the Data & Analytics org in projects being completed by the Denver-based corporate IT team supporting DISH Media. Supporting the GM of Data & Analytics by owning the Product Roadmap of deliverables within a FY for the Data & Analytics team and documenting the value add of these products to the organization.
