JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and maintain an accurate demand plan/forecast. Monitor, analyze, and report customer sales and inventory trends. Assist the Forecast Manager with the annual sales budget.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Forecasting
Develop and maintain an accurate demand plan/forecast by monitoring customer sales, shipments, item seasonality, and other information provided by the customer and/or sales reps. Create and monitor new item forecasts as rollouts are submitted. Collaborate with customer’s planners regularly to ensure the forecast incorporates upcoming ads, inventory changes, and new and discontinuing items are well planned. Forecast and track items being discontinued and coordinate with customers to minimize obsolete inventory. Communicate forecast changes to Operations and Sales departments.
Sales & Inventory Analysis
Monitor and analyze customer POS, inventory, & in-stock trends. Report and document shifts and trends for the NAMs...
