The Business Development Representative will represent ShiftMed in the community and help bring in additional business for the company. The Business Development Representative role will include working with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, staffing companies and other providers in the senior care industry. They will need to identify, develop, and maintain new business opportunities who are in need of Care provider staffing services. They will also need to attend events in the community increasing community awareness of ShiftMed's mission and values. This position will serve the Detroit Territory so we are only speaking to candidates local to Detroit! Business Development Representative Primary Responsibilities: Negotiating terms and contracts with staffing partners Perform prospect visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities to educate and inform on ShiftMed staffing services Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for ShiftMed Prepare presentations using ShiftMed marketing materials Work with Director of Nursing or Scheduling team in each facility to identify needs Field Referral calls and discuss opportunities that are brought to ShiftMed Business Development Representative Benefits (Full-Time): Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Packages Paid Time Off (PTO) And More! Business Development Representative Requirements: 3+ years Sales experience, specifically software sales Strong experience in business development knowledge Proven track record of meeting goals Intuitive, good listener, strong communicator, solution oriented, driven; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Detailed-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player; Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to learn and utilize our proprietary software Health Care Industry experience is required; Software sales experience a plus.
