Responsibilities and Requirements Present and sell company products and services to current and potential wholesale customers. Prepare presentations and proposals. Establish, maintain and manage current customer and potential customer relationships Provide and participate in on-the-job training to new sales employees Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Have previous knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Coordinate company and manufacturer staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. This will include joint travel and sales calls. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, factory trips, counter days, and telemarketing events. Ability to maintain a lifestyle with significant local travel. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of pulling a small light duty trailer. Willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include occasional evenings, weekend work, and overnight travel. Also included are occasional trips by car or plane. High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of outside sales or marketing experience (preferred).
